1. Who we are

BharmouriRoots ("we", "us") operates an online store for authentic Himachali organic and handcrafted products. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you browse, create an account, place an order, or contact support.

2. Information we collect

• Account details: name, email, phone, password (stored hashed)
• Order & shipping details: address, pincode, order items, payment method
• Payment references: Razorpay order/payment IDs (we do not store full card numbers)
• Support messages and device/browser data needed for security and analytics

3. How we use information

• To process orders, payments, shipping, refunds, and customer support
• To send order confirmations, delivery updates, and essential account emails
• To prevent fraud, enforce policies, and improve the storefront experience

4. Payments

Online payments are processed by Razorpay. Card/UPI credentials are entered on Razorpay's secure checkout and are not stored on our servers. We retain payment status and gateway reference IDs for order fulfilment and accounting.

5. Sharing

We share data only with service providers required to run the store (payment gateway, shipping partners such as Shiprocket, email delivery, and hosting). We do not sell personal data.

6. Retention & security

Order and account records are retained as required for legal, tax, and support purposes. Access to admin systems is restricted. No method of transmission is 100% secure; we use industry-standard protections including HTTPS and hashed passwords.

7. Your choices

You may update profile details from your dashboard, or request account/order data help via our Contact page. Marketing emails (if enabled) can be opted out using the unsubscribe link.
